This assignment was to draw a random “boring” brand out of a hat, and redesign it in a fun and exciting way. Lampton Welding is a local Kansas City company, which I researched and discovered it was founded in 1946. I decided to lean into the roots and designed the branding around vintage welding gear and bad-ass welding women. This concept combines vibrant, electric and modern colors with vintage photography.
